And still he said:

I love you

I love you

I love you.

Shut Up! I yelled

I ordered him back to his grave.

He stood straight and tall,

His body challenging my determination

But his ebony eyes betrayed his hurt.

I met his gaze, as much as I wanted to look away.

Finally his eyes dropped and he walked towards the door.

But before he left, he looked at me, his eyes piercing my soul and said:

I love you

I love you

I love you.

I turned away,

I couldn’t handle his gaze,

But,

He’s the blood-sucking monster,

So why am I the heartless one?
